Delon Hampton & Associates (DHA) is seeking a Construction Project Supervisor to oversee contractor work, manage documentation, ensure quality execution, and facilitate communication and compliance throughout project phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the work of the construction contractor to ensure all tasks are executed properly, completed on time, and meet the requirements outlined in construction documents and industry standards, from Notice to Proceed (NTP) through the Close-Out phase.
  • Assist the Construction Manager in overall project delivery, supporting the management of schedules, budgets, and project execution.
  • Manage and maintain all project documentation and records using Unifier software to ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on all construction-related issues, ensuring that project teams are equipped with necessary information and resources.
  • Lead communication and outreach efforts for the project, ensuring effective coordination between all stakeholders, including contractors, the Engineer-of-Record (EOR), and the operations team.
  • Prepare and review change orders to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Review and facilitate compliance of project requirements by the Construction Manager (CM) team.
  • Assist the CM/Resident Engineer (RE) in reviewing contractor payment applications, ensuring proper documentation is provided, including subcontractor approval requests.
  • Support the preparation of monthly progress reports, ensuring all project milestones are accurately tracked and communicated.
  • Review contractor submittals for quality, compliance, and completeness before forwarding them to the Engineer-of-Record for approval.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between the EOR, Contractors, and Operations to ensure the smooth flow of project-related information.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction management or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation software, with proficiency in Unifier a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective coordination and issue resolution among project stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing technical support and leading communication efforts.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices and procedures, including contract compliance and change order processes.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a general office environment 100% of the time.
  • Position is full-time, on-site at the client’s program office five days a week.
